I received a  very sweet letter from Noah's Ark today. Telling me that they were all still amazed that I had walked over 300 miles for them and wanted to let me know that they consider me apart of their family.Which makes me double blessed as now I have two amazing families! They also said that to date I have raised $4,000 and along with the $3,000 left from the sponsorship money I  mailed today brings the  total to  $7,000.  An amazing amount considering the idea of walking 300 miles with absolutely no plan to back it was inspired mid January! Not bad for 3 months- not bad at all.  Just think of the possibilities if one started a year in advance!

 A week after we finished the walk my wonderful sister-in-law Kathi threw me a party at a local restaurant Legend's!  It was great! Although, I really do not feel I deserved a party!  It truly was my gift to have been able to have had such a special journey.  The people and scenery where a true gift from God. From the inspiration in Jan.to the actual start on April 19 there was not  even one problem. Without the Grace of God this truly could not have happened. I have no experience in planning anything no less a 300 mile walk. To  plan it in 3 months and  then to have it go so flawlessly is  impossible but it did! For instance, 13 days of great weather (I think it has rained almost every day since my return), and not one near miss to talk about is truly a miracle!  God definitely held my hand as I walked down those roads and my life will never ever be the same for it.

Thank you all for helping me get there!  I walked, but its as if all of you carried me with your love and encouragement! And most importantly  thank you for what your donations did for such a wonderful,wonderful  place!
