Day 8
The day started with a wonderful service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hartwell, GA. It ended late at 10:30, because ten sweet children received their first communion. Back to the RV at 11:00 to pick up Curt who walked the first 5 with me. We started out down a 2 mile gravel road that was very peaceful and continued to GA 172 toward Bowman. The walk and conversation with Curt were wonderful. That actually was the best part of my day. The heat really got to me today and so did my blisters. Try as I did I could not get the energy to go more then 15 today. After being barked at by an amazing amount of dogs and dodging cars for 6 hours I decided I needed a night to rest up. Heading off to bed early tonight after a wonderful dinner courtesy of Mari , and a hot shower at Watson Mill Bridge State Park.
Ann glad to you took more time to rest besides it was Sunday. I attend Sacred Heart of Griffin Georgia Catholic Church. That was neat that you attended a church of the same name

I Love you too pieces! You are doing an amazing thing. It is so cool to see the lives that you are touching by being obedient to God! So many wonderful things are going to come from that obedience!! Many children, animals and adults are being blessed because of you!! You are a true woman of God and I feel His pleasure with you. I hope you can feel Him saying "Well done my faithful child, well done"! You heart is truely pure Ann. I know this is all for His glory and that is why it is such a blessing. I'm praying for you and really wish I could be there with you every second. My heart is full of joy and I just wanted to share some with you. You are one step closer!
