Day 6

My sister in law Kathi came on Thursday night and we had a slumber party in the RV, so that she could start out with me early on Friday.  We got a good start at 8:07am.  The sky was a beautiful Carolina blue.  And we must have been distracted by it because we missed a road and asked someone how to get to Main St. and we ended up adding an extra 7 miles to the trip!! Oh well we had some great talks and Kathi passed along invaluable advice on how to hydrate and what to eat in the heat.   She is well educated as she is a personal trainer. We did over 30 miles that day.  And Austin met  us at the end of our 30 ( see picture). We hit 30 at exactly 8:07pm.

Ann, Sorry I haven't written but I left after work on Friday to drive to Pittsburgh, PA for an event today (Sunday). I live only 1 1/2 miles from Noah's Ark in Locust Grove. I left Friday around 4:00pm and drove to Statesville, NC. where I stayed the night. When I got to Mooresville,NC. I thought to myself,I basically just drove the mileage that Ann is walking, she has lost her mind!!!! LOL. You are one remarkable person and what an amazing challenge. I'm leaving Pittsburgh Monday morning 4/27 headed back to Locust Grove Ga. If you haven't made it to Locust Grove by the time I get there, I'll try to find your caravan along the way. I salute you and your journey. PS>Welcome to Georgia!
